Energy renovation of Dom pod Storžičem

 

The aim of the project is to reduce energy consumption and fully utilize renewable energy sources, as well as to reduce water consumption and waste production at Dom pod Storžičem. The total cost of the operation, including VAT, is estimated at 375,321.58 €, while the estimated eligible costs of the operation amount to 298,601.57 €. The planned funding for the project is 238,881.26 €. The purpose of the project is to increase the material and energy efficiency of Dom pod Storžičem.

 

The result of the operation will be lower energy and waste costs, as well as increased guest comfort. Consequently, greater recognition of the mountain hut is expected. After the operation, the building will be 100% powered by renewable energy sources and fully self-sufficient in terms of electricity consumption, with reduced consumption of wood biomass due to the comprehensive energy renovation of the building envelope.

The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the EU through the European Regional Development Fund.

  • Replacement of building joinery
  • Purchase of energy-efficient appliances for the kitchen
  • Small wastewater treatment plant
  • Internal renovation works
  • Installation of a solar power plant
